You were accepted for membership to the Sigma Nursing Honor Society, one of the largest and most prestigious nursing organizations in the world, because of you high standards of nursing as professionals, or high academic standards as students.
However you became part of our chapter, we are blessed to have you. We strive to bring value to your membership and be there for our nurses on a professional and personal level. Our membership consists of new nurses, nurses in the middle of their careers, and retired nurses. We have a wealth of knowledge and heart, from students to Deans for colleges of nursing. And we will continue to focus on Sigma Theta Tau’s mission, “Developing nurse leaders anywhere to improve healthcare everywhere.”
We passionately believe we will continue to find more ways to engage and serve our members. Encouraging nursing leaders to not only initiate but implement change, mentor members and work together as a community dedicated to servant leadership. All this is in keeping with the values of our sponsor GCU and our organization Sigma Theta Tau, which include openness, truth, respect, integrity, diversity, and social responsibility while advancing knowledge, education, research, and innovation.
